Project Manager - Civil / Site Land Development
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Manager to join our Civil / Site team in Phoenix, Arizona. The Project Manager will lead project design, profitability, and client management, ensuring design tasks meet technical standards and schedule deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical accuracy and documentation on plans, reports, and design documents.
- Manage development of conceptual planning, grading, and drainage designs to achieve value engineering.
- Perform ordinance review, coordinate utility research, and conduct site visits during construction.
- Maintain quality control for all project documents.
- Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions.
- Develop project schedules and construction timelines.
- Manage multiple projects and workload with competing deadlines.
- Prepare proposal scopes, project schedules, and change orders.
- Perform financial management, including invoice preparation, accounts receivable, and project profitability.
- Lead and mentor junior staff and manage client relationships.
- Ensure AutoCAD layering and detail standards are met.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.8+ years of related experience.Professional licensure in a related field is strongly preferred.Valid driver's license preferred.Experience in land development required.Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and mentoring junior staff.Strong communication with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.Excellent analytical, judgment, and attention to detail.Construction oversight experience preferred.Knowledge of local land use processes and regulations.Advanced technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, grading, and related designs.What We Offer
