Job Description

Job Description: Seeking a dedicated, professional, and hardworking HVAC Installer to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality installations, is customer-focused, and wants to grow within a reputable company.

• Set up furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components in residential and commercial buildings.
• Connect low-voltage (thermostat) and line voltage to heating and cooling units.
• Install copper lines and perform soldering/brazing for AC units.
• Fabricate, install, and connect sheet metal and flexible duct systems.
• Take initial readings and ensure systems function correctly after installation.
• Follow company safety policies, manufacturer specifications, and building codes.
• Communicate with clients, provide basic instructions, and ensure satisfaction.
• Complete job-related paperwork accurately.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical components.
• Ability to diagnose issues and ensure efficient system operation.
• Capable of manual labor, bending, and working in various conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
• Experience with hand and power tools used in fabrication and installation.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants is often required or preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and physics knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, understand electrical systems, and troubleshoot complex units.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and building codes.
