Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers for ALL shifts in the Kansas City, Kansas area. These positions offer a pay rate of $22.50 / hr, paid weekly

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, and / or military is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have availability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, overnights, and evenings.
• Must be able to obtain a KCKS and KCMO Security License prior to employment.
• Be willing to work in all weather conditions.
• The ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Flex Officer Explanation

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company's operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

Scheduling Expectations

The Scheduling Parameters And Expectations For a Flex Officer Are Different From Those Of An Employee Assigned To a Fixed Post. As a Flex

For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

KS Unarmed Security License
