This position involves 100% touch freight , handling dry goods and general freight. You'll run 3–4 loads weekly , with most drivers earning $1,400–$1,700 on average . Between mileage pay, unloading bonuses of up to $300 per trailer , and stop pay , this lane rewards hustle with real numbers - not empty promises.

Day-to-Day on the Road

You'll haul 53-foot dry vans between customer warehouses and distribution centers. Each route keeps you in the Midwest, covering Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois . Loads are well-organized, and you'll have reliable pickup and delivery times. This isn't the kind of freight that keeps you waiting - it's steady, physical work with predictable schedules.

Most drivers are out five days at a time , with full 34–48-hour resets at home each week . Depending on where you live, occasional midweek pass-throughs are possible, though not guaranteed. We prioritize consistent runs, fair scheduling, and respect for your time on and off the clock.
