Mid-Level Grid Consultant

A company is looking for a Mid-Level Grid Interconnection Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare generator interconnection applications and develop necessary models

Review ISO feasibility and system impact studies to guide clients

Perform independent power system studies to support generator interconnection planning

Required Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems Analysis

3+ years of power systems engineering experience

Knowledge of power regions and ISOs / RTOs

Experience with modeling inverter-based resources and renewable generation

Familiarity with transmission planning software such as PSS / E and PSLF
