Job descriptionWork 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM 36 guaranteed hours per week (48-hour contracts available upon request) Work three weekends out of every six-week schedule Every other holiday requirement Float requirement within skillset to Deaconess Midtown campus (8 miles) and potential float to Deaconess Henderson (11 miles) Two-hour notice given for cross-campus floating Mid-shift float within same campus possible No on-call or callback requirements Required certifications : Current active compact license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS Minimum two years of strong Med / Surg experience required One travel assignment experience required Trauma level II experience required Recent EPIC charting experience required with mandatory checkoff class Care for combination of medical and surgical patients including confusion / behavioral health / CIWA, CHF, COPD, UTI, cellulitis, sepsis, amputations, decubitus ulcers, and general surgeries Skills include IV fluid / antibiotic therapies, strong medical / post-surgical assessment, heparin drips, wounds / wound vacs, and basic telemetry Navy blue scrubs required with no competing health systems or agency logos Teaching hospital may require precepting of students and new hires Associate degree or certificate required Three call-ins can result in termination Referral bonus
