Kinghorn Law | Financial advises and serves families in estate planning, probate, trust administration, Medicaid / VA planning, and elder law needs. The firm provides financial services, including investor coaching, insurance, and accounting.
Position Overview
The Estate Planning Attorney is the cornerstone of Kinghorn Law | Financials service fulfillment efforts. This person is responsible for helping people achieve their estate planning goals. The Estate Planning Attorney presents to the public, consults with prospective clients, drafts and reviews estate planning documents, and manages estate administration and probate matters. This person has a high degree of responsibility and directs the efforts of other team members in client support, document production, and execution services.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolFive to ten years experience in the legal fieldExperience interacting with clients via phone, email, and in-person.Skills and Behaviors

Can sit for extended periods of time at a computer.Can move from room to room to conduct or attend meetings.Can travel by car, rail, and / or airplane to training workshops, events, or conferences.Roles and Key Responsibilities
Seek out personal and professional development.Lead public and private workshops.Conduct initial client consultation meetings with prospective clients.Meet and exceed performance and revenue targets.Direct the Production Paralegal in drafting custom estate planning documents.Draft special language as required for a clients estate plan.Review / proof completed estate plans for accuracy and completeness.Conduct document signing meetings when needed.Answer clients legal questions pertaining to their estate plans. Direct and delegate appropriate non-legal advice questions to support team members.Actively participate in the firms marketing efforts.Actively cultivate professional relationships with referral sources.Earn 36 CLE units per year, including state-sponsored and American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys-sponsored educational events.Participate in monthly and weekly team / department meetings and contribute input to law firm operations and procedures.Be involved in the community and organizations of interest to the firm and attorney.Arizona Notary.Benefits
