Responsibilities Position based in an acute care, Level III Trauma hospital Work primarily in X-Ray with coverage for OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient, and ER as needed Daily schedule is 4x10 hour shifts : Monday through Thursday, 8 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM On-call rotation required, including some weekend coverage Must be able to float between multiple radiology areas according to patient and facility needs Patient population includes both adult and pediatric cases Epic is the preferred EMR Responsibilities include performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with minimal supervision Role requires initiative, technical competence, and independent problem-solving First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment RTO requests must be included up front and are subject to facility approval Local candidates within 60 miles are considered at a reduced rate and with HR approval Color requirement for scrubs is teal top and black bottom No parking costs associated with the facility All travelers complete hospital-required online modules prior to start Candidates must not have worked within the health system as staff or PRN in the last year During hurricane season (June-November), candidates may be required to join emergency response teams Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent X-Ray Technologist experience Current ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR certifications are required Experience in Fluoroscopy and Operating Room radiology is required Radiation badge must be provided by the candidate's agency Social Security Number and Driver's License required for consideration License required if applicable Experience with Epic EMR is preferred Must be able to provide care for both adults and children Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622451.
