Job Summary : Lorian Health is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team dedicated to setting the highest quality standards for home-health services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and effective speech therapy services to patients in various settings, including inpatient, schools, hospitals, and acute care facilities. Responsibilities : - Conduct patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders - Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings - Provide hands-on therapy and interventions to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Administer standardized testing to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly - Engage in case management to coordinate patient services effectively Requirements : - Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field - Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist - Experience in inpatient, school, hospital, or acute care settings preferred - Strong knowledge of physiology related to speech and swallowing functions - Proficiency in conducting standardized testing for speech and language disorders - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams Joining Lorian Health offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while advancing your career as a Speech Language Pathologist.
