Human Resources Specialist
We are seeking a proactive 2nd shift Human Resources Specialist to support a wide range of people operations and employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive recruitment efforts, from job postings to onboarding.
- Lead orientation sessions and coordinate employee training.
- Manage employee leave programs and benefits administration.
- Support employee relations, including investigations and performance documentation.
- Organize internal events and community outreach activities.
- Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate workforce reports.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in human resources.Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws.Strong communication and organizational skills.High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Flexibility to support multiple shifts if needed.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in employee relations, recruiting, HR systems, and payroll.Strong customer service and data entry skills.Knowledge of employee benefits and human resource management.Work Environment
This position is based in an office / manufacturing environment, with a shift from Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM. The role requires flexibility to support additional shifts when needed. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
