Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Metal Finishers to join our team in a sheet metal shop. This role involves lifting, sanding, and grinding tasks, with an opportunity to advance into a highly skilled grinder position as our top grinders are retiring.

Responsibilities

• Perform metal finishing, including lifting, sanding, and grinding tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and finish sheet metal.
• Move materials and use grinders for most of the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work Environment

Work in a large sheet metal shop, known for its great company culture. The facility is local and offers a dirtier area of the shop, suitable for those who enjoy hands-on, practical work. The night shift runs from 3 : 30 pm to 2 : 00 am, Monday through Thursday, with a 10% shift differential offered.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Salt Lake, Utah.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00 / hr.
