8 / C Press Operator

Job Summary :

Operate and maintain assigned equipment to production standards and quality.

Shift : 4SN, 5 : 00pm-5 : 00am, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Analyze and interpret job jackets to thoroughly understand the needs of the customer, communicating those instructions to co-workers
• Perform manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance, and operations of the press
• Give direction to machine crew through production and down time. Provide leadership when necessary
• Constantly monitor quality of finished product to ensure customer's satisfaction - verifying quantity to be printed, stock specifications, colors and special printing instructions
• Ability to identify visual defects and apply correcting solution to repair defect
• Responsible for general preventive maintenance and inspection of machine as required
• Follow all required safety procedures such as : PPE's, Ergonomics, and etc. Performs job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees. Assist with housekeeping in the Press area
• Other duties as assigned
