Job descriptionKnowledge of Object Storage and distributed File Systems and how to scale those solutions. The salary range for this position is between $114,200 - $142,700 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. Full job description
We are looking for an engineer who will help lead the development and support of current and future storage platforms at scale.
The Storage Team supports the operations and development of block volumes, backups and image management, and object storage. The ultimate goal of the Droplet Storage Team is to create a cohesive singular interface to hypervisor storage where storage class placement decisions are transparent to the hypervisor client and take advantage of the full range of available block storage classes to best satisfy customer needs.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to make impactful contributions to key software, contribute to the open source community, and debug interesting problems at cloudscale.
