Overview

Weill Cornell Medicine in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group / Queens is seeking a board certified, fellowship-trained Maternal-Fetal Medicine sub-specialist to join our faculty as the Medical Director of Labor & Delivery at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital. This position involves clinical, administrative and leadership responsibilities in the labor & delivery unit, as well as maternal-fetal medicine coverage in the antenatal testing unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and direct oversight of the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Deliver maternal-fetal medicine coverage in the antenatal testing unit.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and Obstetrics / Gynecology teams to support patient care, workflow, and quality initiatives.
• Participate in education and training activities for Ob / Gyn and Pediatric residents and medical students.

Qualifications

Benefits and Compensation

The salary range for this position is $500k to $550k. This compensation range does not include our benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.

Academic and Organization Details

The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and credentials.
