American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Management for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with at least 3 years of experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital case management setting
  • Day shift, Monday through Friday with shift options of 8 : 00-16 : 30 or 8 : 30-17 : 00
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • May float within the facility and scope of practice as needed
  • Serves a variety of patient populations requiring discharge planning and care coordination
  • Responsibilities include assessing, evaluating, and managing discharge plans and coordinating care transitions
  • Monitor length of stay and address barriers to discharge while following Medicare guidelines for notifications
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Cannot request time off during the first week of assignment; maximum of 7 days requested time off during contract
  • Holiday coverage is required based on the number of major holidays during assignment; minimal holiday RTO allowed
  • Orientation modules must be completed during orientation and hours are non-billable
  • Must complete compliance items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate

  • Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 3 years RN experience required
  • Case management experience strongly preferred
  • Must provide two supervisory references (manager or above)
  • Perm staff must be separated from all Piedmont facilities for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
