Guidehouse SkillBridge Internship Program
Guidehouse, a leading global provider of consulting services, is teaming up with the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program to offer career opportunities supporting clients within various segments including Defense & Security, Communities, Energy & Infrastructure, Financial Services, Health, and Technology. The Guidehouse SkillBridge Internship Program staffs interns on real-world projects, showcasing the Guidehouse culture, and providing them with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of the clients. Each Intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience.
Interns will manage / participate with teams and / or projects, lead business interactions, identify opportunities and business needs, prepare and / or coordinate complex written presentation materials, develop solutions based on an understanding of strategy, operations, and management within the finance functional area, utilize previous experience to help set and achieve long-term goals, perform accurate analysis and design effective solutions to a variety of organizational issues, create strategies and blueprints that use machine learning to improve operations and refine processes, serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, evaluate and suggest improvements of business processes and systems / applications, and maintain effective communication within the team and coordination with a local office and other departments. They will also drive special projects as needed through direction of leadership and develop presentation-quality deliverables to leadership.
As a SkillBridge Intern at Guidehouse, you will join a team of professionals who combine technical expertise with business pragmatism to support clients in the commercial and / or public sector. You will have a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of areas while working in a collaborative team environment to provide our clients with innovative solutions to their most pressing problems. Our SkillBridge Interns help our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations.
To be eligible for this internship, you must be within 180 days of separation or retirement from any of the U.S. Armed Forces, on track to receive an Honorable Discharge, have taken any service TAPS / TGPS, attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months, have command approval to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program or Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) Cohort for 2026, and have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university program. Knowledge or experience with MMIS systems, Analytics, Developmental Disabilities and Long-Term Services and Supports, Public Health, and the ability to be onsite in a Guidehouse Office or Client Office location are also required.
