POSITION SUMMARY : As an Admissions Registered Nurse, you will provide intermittent nursing services to patients in their homes according to a plan of care established in collaboration with the patient’s physician and in compliance with agency policies and procedures. Your duties will include admitting clients, developing care plans, and coordinating with other disciplines and agencies as necessary.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION : Graduated from an NLN-approved school of nursing with an associate or baccalaureate degree. Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in the state.

EXPERIENCE : A minimum of one year of recent medical / surgical nursing experience is required; additional experience in community health nursing is preferred.

COMPETENCIES : You should have a solid understanding of nursing theories and practices, clinical documentation, and patient care evaluation, as well as effective communication skills and the ability to establish strong relationships with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues.
