Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America

AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country

We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year

The role you'll contribute :

Provides patients with support treatment, care, and evaluations prior to and during transportation.

The value you'll bring to the team :

Inspects and maintains equipment to ensure the safety of transport team members, patients, and the general public.

Monitors, records, and communicate patient conditions and treatments as appropriate.

Educate patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions.

Monitors and anticipates needs for additional equipment and secures tools to meet patient care demands during transport.

Operates emergency vehicles safely in various weather and emergent conditions.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

Associate Required

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Required

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) Required

Driver's License (DL) Required

Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) Required or

Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) Required
