Service Desk Analyst

Intermediate Level | On-Site, Evansville, IN | Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

• Position Overview :

We are seeking a Service Desk Technician to join the Help Desk team, providing frontline support for end-user IT issues. This role involves troubleshooting account lockouts, supporting enterprise applications, and assisting with system migrations. It is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment, offering valuable experience in a global enterprise environment.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Provide first-level phone, email, and chat support for end-user IT issues.
• Log and monitor tickets in the IT Service Management system.
• Troubleshoot account lockouts and application access issues.
• Support Active Directory and email migration activities.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate support groups and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Research, test, and document solutions to technical problems.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a professional, approachable demeanor.
• Follow established corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with other IT staff.
• Pursue first-call resolution whenever possible.
• Required Skills :
• Help desk and technical support experience.
• Proficiency with Windows 10, Office 365, and Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems and password resets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience in enterprise service desk environments.
• ITIL certification or related experience.
• Ability to follow structured processes and recognize deviations from standard practices.
• Experience Level :
• Intermediate - suitable for candidates with prior help desk or service desk analyst experience, but also open to entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude and customer service skills.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 / hr.
