Manager - Professional Ethics

Professional Ethics Division Staff

You will participate in standard-setting and member enrichment activities of the Professional Ethics division, including staffing the Professional Ethics division hotline, developing resources and presenting at meetings, including Professional Ethics Executive Committee (PEEC) and the Joint Ethics Enforcement Program (JEEP) meetings. Perform investigations, communicate findings to the Enforcement Subcommittee (ESC), PEEC, state CPA societies, and members. You will report to the Senior Manager - Professional Ethics. This is a remote position.

You Will :

• Be the task force liaison to PEEC - conduct meetings; draft and revise standards and interpretations; analyze and respond to proposed standards, discussion papers, and technical inquiries of other standard-setting bodies
• Perform investigations into potential violations of the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct; present cases to the ESC, PEEC, the Joint Trial Board, and state CPA societies. Case work may involve technical professional standards and potential violations of independence and behavioral issues, including tax.
• Staff the Professional Ethics division hotline; develop tools, aids, and other materials to aid the profession in understanding and complying with ethical responsibilities; participate in planning and presenting at the annual JEEP meeting and state CPA society meetings

The Annual Salary Range for this role is : $100,000 - $121,000
