Maintenance Supervisor – Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Location : Portland, OR
Type : Full-Time, Onsite
Salary Range : $85,000 – $103,400 base + bonus
Schedule : 4 days on / 4 days off – 12-hour shifts (6 : 00am–6 : 00pm or 6 : 00pm–6 : 00am)
Industry : Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Experience Level : 10–15 years (Mid-Senior)
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 5+ years equivalent experience

The Maintenance Supervisor will bring technical expertise, people leadership, and operational excellence to ensure production reliability and team performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You’ll lead a skilled team of mechanics, electricians, and engineers—driving preventive maintenance, equipment uptime, and process improvement across multiple shifts.
What You’ll Do
People & Labor Management
- Lead all aspects of Safety, Quality, and Line Efficiency for your shift.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional maintenance team.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance of PM Technicians.
- Build and sustain strong union relationships and positive work culture.
- Ensure GMP compliance in tooling and workshop operations.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Lead the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) improvement agenda.Direct and prioritize Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs.Analyze breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.Ensure timely updates and accuracy of PM data in SAP.Partner with production teams to ensure on-time start-up and minimal downtime.Operational & Technical Excellence
Drive cost-effective Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) strategies.Evaluate equipment reliability plans and implement refinements.Provide technical training to strengthen team capability in a 24 / 7 operation.Maintain strict adherence to all safety rules and compliance regulations.What You Bring
5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting (food industry preferred)Proven success leading maintenance teams in unionized environmentsExperience managing preventive maintenance and reliability programsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skillsFamiliarity with SAP, Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM principles preferredWhat’s Offered
