Our Auburn Pump and Motor Repair Shop is looking for a Mechanic Helper to join the team. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates of HVAC and automotive programs.

This role is to assist the Pump Mechanics in the cleaning, painting, testing, binning, partially disassembling of AC / DC motors and pumps.

Mechanic Helper Responsibilities :

• Assist in the maintenance of service truck tools, safety equipment, instruments, and materials, specific to pump, motor, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Assist mechanics with the disassembly of pump and motor assemblies.
• Cleaning Parts using a sandblaster and air tools.
• Keep shop areas clean from debris.
• Assist in the maintenance of required stock of pumps, parts, fittings, pipe and related material on the service truck.
• Performs cleaning, lubricating of tools as required.
• Performs duties in a professional manner and works well with others or in a team setting.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with co-workers, outside agencies, and the public.
• Regular attendance and adherence to prescribed work schedule to conduct job responsibilities.
• Observes safe work practices and safety methods; performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range between $16 - $18 / hour
