Electrical Engineering Technician
Job Description
Provide hands?on technical support for the assembly, testing, and maintenance of advanced ordnance. This role involves building and testing complex electrical systems and prototypes, including electronic safe and arm devices (ESADs). Interpret and work from detailed technical schematics and engineering instructions, perform intricate soldering and rework on surface?mount components, and use sophisticated diagnostic equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers to troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions. Assist engineers with design validation, ensure compliance with military and safety standards, prepare comprehensive test reports, and support both initial prototype development and low?volume production builds. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work effectively with technical leadership and peers to ensure requirements and schedules are met.
