About The Federal Policy Team
Ceres’ Federal Policy Team works with the private sector members of the Ceres Policy (BICEP) Network and the Ceres Investor Network and broader coalition of companies and investors to make the business case and build support for innovative climate, clean energy and transportation policies. We strategically mobilize our bench of private sector advocates to engage members of U.S. Congress and the U.S. federal administration to support well-designed policies that will equitably tackle the climate crisis and take advantage of the business and economic opportunities of an America-led clean energy future.
About You
You are passionate about reducing costs, creating jobs, and strengthening U.S. innovation, competitiveness, and energy security through federal climate and clean energy policy. You are highly motivated and detail oriented, with an ability to plan and deliver projects both collaboratively and independently. You are a skilled communicator with an aptitude for considering diverse perspectives and creating shared understanding among stakeholders. You are dedicated to advocating for strong and effective federal climate and clean energy policies for a just and sustainable economy.
About The Role
Reporting to the Senior Director, Federal Policy, the Manager will support Ceres’ policy work with leading companies and investors with a focus on federal-level climate and clean energy policy work in one or more key sectors, especially clean power / electricity to affordably meet growing demand. This is a full-time, salaried position. The role is hybrid with travel several times per month to in-person events and meetings. The Manager must be located within a commutable distance from the Washington, DC area. Candidates must be flexible to work with employees in all US time zones.

The hiring salary is $72,100 – $85,600 with competitive benefits (Pay Grade 15).
