Lead Settlement Associate (Team Lead)

- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving :
Use analytical thinking to evaluate complex situations and make informed decisions that improve team performance and operational efficiency.
Address and resolve discrepancies, payment delays, or issues promptly while minimizing the impact on stakeholders.Continuously assess workflows and suggest process improvements to streamline settlement operations and mitigate potential errors.Payment Processing and Accuracy :Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payments to contractors, employees, vendors, and other key partners within the Bridgeway ecosystem.
Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and industry standards to maintain accuracy in settlements.Perform audits and reconciliations to ensure payment integrity and to identify any discrepancies in a timely manner.Collaboration and Communication :Work closely with internal departments (such as accounting, HR, and operations) to ensure the smooth flow of information and coordination of efforts in settlement activities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for issues in a lead role, offering clear and effective communication with contractors, employees, and vendors to resolve concerns.Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any payment-related inquiries.Leadership and Team Management :Lead a team responsible for settlement activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Skills and Qualifications :Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle high volumes of work efficiently.Solid understanding of financial systems, accounting, and payment processing in the logistics and transportation industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
