Facilities Electrician

Performs skilled trades work in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of electrical systems and components, burglar / fire alarms, CCTV and access control systems.

Environmental Factors : Work is performed primarily outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions, traffic situations, and electrical hazards.

Physical Factors : Position requires heavy lifting and carrying up to 125 pounds; pulling electrical conduit and wiring; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching above shoulder height and climbing a lift truck and ladders. Work Situation Factors : Position requires a two-week on-call rotational schedule; occasional work beyond normal business hours. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job to ensure continuity of services. Position is subject to drug testing in accordance with applicable State and Federal regulations and City of Las Cruces policy.
