Exo Talent Partners is partnering confidentially with a well-established U.S. manufacturer of advanced magnetic components to hire a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with deep expertise in high-frequency power magnetics.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role in which you design custom magnetic components for mission-critical applications across Defense, Aerospace, Industrial, and Commercial sectors. The position offers high visibility, direct customer interaction, and a clear path to technical leadership or engineering management within 6–12 months, contingent on performance and business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design of transformers, inductors, planar magnetics, chokes, EMI filters, and high-voltage magnetic assemblies
- Own designs end-to-end from customer requirements through validation and production release
- Design high-frequency switching power magnetics across all major power conversion topologies
- Interface directly with aerospace and defense customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Develop and execute prototype builds, testing, and performance validation
- Apply SPICE, 3D CAD, and electromagnetic FEA tools to support design decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical direction and process improvements
What We’re Looking For
