As a Laboratory Technician , you will play a crucial role in our beverage innovation, ensuring that every can reflects our dedication to quality, consistency, and flavor. This position operates on 1st shift from Monday 4am-2 : 30 pm and 6am-2 : 30 pm Tuesday through Friday.
Your Role :
- Quality Guardian : Safeguard taste, texture, and safety by performing a variety of tests, including microbiological and sensory evaluations, to ensure all products not only meet but exceed our high standards.
- Innovative Collaborator : Work with our R&D team to test new recipes, adjust formulas, and refine flavors, pushing the boundaries of beverage possibilities.
- Lab Expert : Utilize advanced laboratory equipment for precise testing, ensuring that our drinks are safe, fresh, and perfectly crafted.
- Data Analyst : Collect and analyze data, turning test results into actionable insights to enhance product quality and processes, ensuring our offerings consistently meet customer expectations.
- Problem Solver : Be the go-to expert for addressing quality issues, coordinating with our production team to resolve batch inconsistencies and unexpected test results efficiently.
- Regulatory Adherence : Maintain a safe laboratory environment by ensuring all testing, documentation, and equipment comply with our rigorous health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and job specifications.
- Read and comprehend job standards and meet quality specifications for products.
- Monitor production line operations to ensure the final product meets all specifications and is defect-free.
- Isolate and put out-of-specification products on hold.
- Perform sensory testing to match products to reference standards.
- Communicate effectively with production personnel about line checks and adjustments needed to maintain specifications.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate lab instrumentation and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Assist in maintaining housekeeping responsibilities within the lab.
- Accurately complete required documentation.
- Verify and analyze batch attributes, including analytical and sensory comparisons, and approve batches for the production line.
- Exhibit excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Show willingness to enhance personal performance and knowledge.
- Demonstrate strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail regarding product quality.

Qualifications :
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in chemistry or a related field is preferred.Previous laboratory or quality control experience is required; food and beverage industry experience is preferred.Basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures is necessary.Must comply with Quality Management System Policies and Food Safety Management requirements.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Must effectively communicate and comprehend instructions in English.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail are essential.Ability to prioritize tasks according to business needs.Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages, and rates.Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.Must attain Food Safety Training (Qualified Individual).Physical Requirements :
Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including prolonged exertions, standing, sitting, reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data; perform extensive reading and visual inspections.Ability to work in varying conditions with exposure to heat, cold, dust, and fumes.Required physical dexterity for measuring and pipetting samples.Benefits :
