Job description

Overview

We are looking for Vietnamese Interpreters in LA, Duarte for medical onsite (in person) appointments!

Responsibilities

  • Interpret medical onsite appointments in Vietnamese and English (on-site, in person).
  • Be accustomed with the consecutive interpretation process.
  • Note taking and memory techniques.
  • Provide professional and courteous behavior and strong customer service.

Qualifications

  • Be fluent in both English and the target language.
  • State Certified a plus
  • Have strong verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Be familiar with note taking and memory techniques.
  • Professional and courteous behavior.
  • Be accustomed with the consecutive interpretation process.
  • Strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service.
  • Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics.
  • At least 2 years of medical interpreting experience.
  • AB5 Compliant.

  • Job Type : Contract
  • Rate : From 40.00 per hour
  • Note : Rate is subject to experience, training, education and location. There are some situations where the rate could be outside the notated range.
  • Department : Interpretation
  • This is a contract position.
