Infrastructure Analyst

Hybrid (3 days in office per week in uptown Charlotte)
Brooksource is searching for an Infastructure Analyst with 3+ years of relevant experience to join our Fortune 500 Energy & Utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This position blends system and network administration, with a strong emphasis on network support. You will provide enterprise-level support for a wide range of technologies, including workstations, servers, storage, mobile devices, and various software applications. Key responsibilities include integrating and maintaining hardware and software, developing standard procedures, planning and executing upgrades, and offering technical guidance to IT staff.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or 8 years of equivalent direct work experience
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience beyond degree or equivalent experience
- Practical experience with operating systems, software, and hardware
- General computer usage and support skills
- Understanding and application of network and firewall concepts for troubleshooting, creating, and simplifying network issues
- Experience with VMWare, Cisco, Palo Alto, Ixia, Arista, Opengear, or Raritan preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to document work processes clearly and communicate technical information to various audiences, including senior management
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines under tight timeframes
- Capability to present complex technical information understandably to various audiences
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including listening, conflict management, negotiation, approachability, and maturity in handling stress and frustration
- Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization and work in a team-driven environment
- Ability to research independently, multi-task, and absorb change while maintaining positive results
- Ability to resolve complex issues and recognize appropriate times to raise issues and provide status updates
- Facilitate meetings and provide direction to others
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide enterprise-level support for infrastructure and business application technologies, including workstations, servers, storage, mobile devices, and related softwareIntegrate, support, and monitor various hardware and software technologies to ensure optimal performanceDevelop and maintain routine work procedures, defining standard installation and upgrade methodologiesEvaluate, acquire, install, integrate, test, and upgrade system components; monitor system performancePlan, design, install, and support computer systems, with an emphasis on network administrationFacilitate technical and business planning for system and network upgradesProvide technical guidance and support to IT staff regarding software and hardware issuesDevelop or assist in developing standards for IT software and hardwareAssist in the design and implementation of required systems and network solutionsCoordinate hardware and software upgrades with IT and business unitsPrepare activity and progress reports for individual and project activitiesStay current with new hardware and software developments; evaluate and recommend enhancements or upgradesDocument work processes thoroughly and communicate effectively with team members and managementTroubleshoot and resolve complex network and firewall issues, applying knowledge of network conceptsWork independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines under tight timeframesFacilitate meetings, provide direction to others, and build effective working relationships across the organizationIntegrate software and hardware configurations to maximize performanceRecognize appropriate times to raise issues and provide status updatesDemonstrate the ability to absorb change and continue with positive results#J-18808-Ljbffr
