We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated team player to join us as an Inventory Control / Quality Assurance Specialist . This position is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory needs and status to our fulfillment and operations teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain inventory cycle count program by performing daily counts
Work comfortably in a multi-temperature environment
Assist in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies
Process member returns
Pull and systematically process damaged, expired, and recalled items as needed
Apply and ensure compliance with inventory processes and procedures
Communicate effectively and promptly (both verbally and electronically) all applicable inventory requests and inspections to both corporate and internal leaders
Support internal and external audits
Ensure all system transactions are accurate and timely to reflect correct inventory positions (including cycle counts, donations, damage, etc.)
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor to enhance fulfillment operations
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum age of 18 years or older
Prior logistics, fulfillment, and / or industry experience (preferred)
Ability to physically count and move products on shelves, racks, and pallets
Ability to read and interpret documents such as inventory reports and operating procedures
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time; frequently reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
Experience with hand-held scanners (preferred)
