STNA / CNA Job Description
Position Title : State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Reports To : RN Case Manager or Director of Nursing
Location : Columbus, Ohio Client Homes & Community Settings
Employment Type : Full-time / Part-time / PRN
Position Summary : We're hiring STNAs / CNAs to provide hands-on personal care to seniors and post-hospital clients in their homes. You'll work under the supervision of an RN, helping clients maintain independence, safety, and comfort.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with ADLs : bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, ambulation
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide basic skin care, catheter care, and incontinence support
- Light housekeeping (laundry, linens, tidying)
- Document care and report changes in condition
- Follow infection control and HIPAA protocols
- Offer emotional support and companionship
