Urgent Care Physician - Flexible Schedule in West Virginia

Highlights

Choose your availability : only 10 shifts per month minimum for PRN coverage
Travel and lodging provided, including airfare, rental car, and hotel accommodations
Malpractice insurance included

Practice Setting

Work across multiple sites within 30 miles of each other

Support staff includes medical assistants and radiology technicians

See 3-4 patients per hour on average

Schedule

Day shifts, Monday-Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM

No call required

Procedures and Cases

Handle typical urgent care cases : cold / flu, rashes, sprains, minor burns

Perform orthopedic procedures like splinting

Comfortable with suturing, wound care, I&Ds, X-rays / EKGs, and drawing blood / IVs

Requirements

Board Certified

Minimum 2 years of Urgent Care experience or 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience

Comfortable seeing patients of all ages and working independently

ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA required

Credentialing Requirements

Full and temporary privileges available

Anticipate 90 days for credentialing
