Job description

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Diego, California.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Discipline : RN
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Travel

Rady Children’s Hospital (CA)

Contract Length : 13 weeks (approx. 91 days)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week (3×12)

Weekend Requirement : Yes –

  • Days : 4 weekend shifts (Sat / Sun) per 4-week schedule
  • Nights : 5 shifts (Fri / Sat) per 4-week schedule
  • One full weekend off every 4 weeks

    • Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)

    Requirements

  • CA RN License : Active or pending with ETA
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years independent recent PICU experience (within last year)
  • Certifications : BLS, PALS
  • Skills Required :

    • Ventilator management

  • Arterial line management
  • CVP monitoring
  • ICP & EVD management
  • Interpretation / management of dysrhythmias
  • Preferred :

    • BSN

  • Prior travel experience
  • EPIC & children’s hospital experience
