ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER - HYBRID (MUST BE LOCATED IN THE WEST CHESTER AREA)
Job Description : Summary :
The Accounts Payable Manager manages accounts payable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate financial records and control reports. Implement metrics and review processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement or cost-savings. This position will report to the Controller.
Description :
Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including supervising staff, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
Timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process, including completion of balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with weekly accounts payable check / ACH runs
Implement metrics and process reviews to drive continuous improvements in productivity and quality controls
Assist with the annual audit for the role's area of responsibility
Manage the 3 rd party vendor for the Corporate Travel and Purchase Card, along with driving internal policies, reporting and accounting process flows for these expenses
Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure vender payment terms are accurate and collectively work together to enhance net working capital and / or payment discounts
Evaluate Payables Software Solutions that have the potential to integrate with multiple ERP systems and allow standardization across the company
Hiring, training, and development of the Accounts Payable staff

Professional Experience Requirements :
Education :
Required Work Experience / Skills :
Minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years working in Accounts Payable with high volume of transactions
Must have supervisory experience
Demonstrated track record of continuous process improvement and implementing best practices
Capability to work collaboratively with others, not only direct reports, to accomplish goals and objectives; desire to participate in a team environment
Must also be able to work independently, exercising discretion and sound judgement along with meeting tight deadlines
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, such as Prophet 21
Ability to prioritize tasks as required and multitask
Preferred but Not Required :
Previous experience of 1-3 years in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or another high-volume transaction environment
History of supervisory staff in a hybrid / remote environment
Experience in integrating acquisitions

Targeted Salary : $85-100K
