Internal Medicine Physician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician (MD or DO) licensed in California to join our multidisciplinary team as a 1099 independent contractor at our residential eating disorder treatment centers in Monterey and Santa Barbara.

• Provide in-person medical assessments, follow-ups, and participate in treatment planning.
• Manage labs, medications, and address medical issues in collaboration with mental health staff.
• Support clinical team with documentation, emergency availability, and medical rounds.
• Requires active CA license, DEA registration, and prior experience in behavioral health or eating disorders preferred.
• Travel to both locations twice monthly; professional liability insurance needed.
• Compensation includes visit-based pay and administrative stipends, with an expected 5–10 hours / week.
