Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $99,000.00 - $150,750.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to : scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

What you will be doing

JOB DESCRIPTION

Work with Epic System Software, which is a software system used to capture patient healthcare data that serves as the information backbone for many of the largest integrated healthcare systems in the world, including HSS. Responsible for the maintenance, upgrade and configuration of the Epic Hospital Billing / Single Billing Office module for HSS. Configure Resolute Hospital Billing / SBO / Claims and Remittance modules to send claims, process remittances, configure statement build, trigger charges, and work with external collection agencies. Responsible for building, testing, and presenting to end-users and change control, and also migrates build to production.

Support other IT department initiatives and projects as necessary. Serve as a vital liaison between the HSS IT Department, Patient Accounting, Finance, and collection agencies. Conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviewing the software, demonstrating a deeper understanding of business operations, and working with Epic, other software vendors, HSS Operational Representatives / Subject Matter Experts, and end-users to tailor the systems to fit the organization's needs while maintaining data integrity. Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues, and develops and documents the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with Epic and other applications. Responsible for designing, building, testing, installing, and maintaining solutions.

Experience

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

3+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience. 3+ years of significant IT implementation and / or support experience. Participation in at least one full implementation lifecycle. Experience leading a team in a complex, high paced environment.

Skills

• Must have experience with charge router, workqueue configuration, collection agency workflows, statement processing, benefit engine, and estimates.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills
• Demonstrated ability in adherence to process standards around documentation and workflow design.
• Project management skills including, but not limited to the ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, and manage project plans.
• Driven to expand on current healthcare IT knowledge and expertise.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and pragmatic; a great team player who is analytical and solution-focused.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to forge and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Word, Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

SKILLS PREFERRED

Project Management Professional, or like experience. Significant healthcare experience Excellent analytical skills and experience implementing applications. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Demonstrated ability in staff mentoring and adherence to process standards around documentation and workflow design. Excellent project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan). Strong team building skills and excellent presentation skills.
