Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT(R), BLS, state license, and proficiency in Siemens MRI equipment for an acute care teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care teaching hospital with a Level 4 trauma designation
  • Adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER / trauma patient population
  • MRI department using Siemens MRI equipment
  • Evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM
  • No weekend or on-call required, but on-call available if interested
  • Epic (Excellian) charting system is used
  • Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals
  • Dark gray scrubs required
  • Free parking in any unrestricted space
  • Pre-start modules required and documented by transcripts
  • RTO ideally no more than 5 days
  • Locals accepted for radiology positions
  • Fingerprinting required for background check before start, in accordance with Minnesota state law

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years MRI Tech experience required
  • Current ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
  • State license required if applicable; pending license accepted
  • Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, and ER / trauma settings required
  • Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment required
  • Epic / Excellian EMR experience required
  • At least 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
  • Return travelers must have a minimum 3 month gap from previous staff / per diem employment
