Tax Administrator / Client Representative

About the Role A growing financial services firm a Tax Preparer & Administrative Support Specialist to support tax preparation workflows and deliver top-tier service to individual and business clients. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable managing documentation in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities Tax Administration & Processing Organize, assemble, and process client tax documents to ensure accurate and timely filings. Digitize and securely archive financial records and documentation. Work alongside tax professionals to resolve discrepancies or respond to filing-related inquiries. Client Support & Communication Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, offering clear guidance on tax-related procedures. Handle client communications via phone, email, and in person, ensuring a positive service experience. Provide support to clients navigating online tax portals and government submission systems. Administrative Duties Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records. Ensure all necessary forms and information are filed and stored in compliance with firm standards. Contribute to team efficiency through collaboration and shared workflow systems. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple client requests simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience in a tax preparation or accounting setting is advantageous, though not required.
