Heyden Supply is looking for a  Junior Automation Engineer  with a passion for AI, APIs, and building smart internal systems that eliminate repetitive work and move the business forward.

If you're excited about implementing AI in real business workflows, not just experimenting, this is the role.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain AI-powered automations

Develop and integrate APIs to connect internal and external systems

Implement LLM-driven tools that support operations, customer service, ecommerce, and logistics

Maintain and enhance existing automation workflows (Python, Zapier / Make, custom scripts)

Work with internal data to create smarter, more automated processes

Document workflows and collaborate across departments

What We’re Looking For

Familiarity with modern AI tools, LLMs, and prompt engineering

Basic to intermediate Python skills

Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON

Understanding of automation workflows (Zapier, Make, or custom code)

Strong problem-solving ability and a drive to build efficient systems

Curiosity and a willingness to learn rapidly-evolving AI tools
