Pediatric Hospitalist (0.5 FTE)

Location : Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) – Golisano Children's Hospital at UVM Health Network, Plattsburgh, NY

Position Overview :

CVPH, a member of the Golisano Children's Hospital at University of Vermont Health System, is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide high-quality inpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents in a supportive community hospital environment. This is aclinical-only position ideal for physicians seeking work-life balance within a collaborative, family-centered care model.

Responsibilities :

• Manage inpatient pediatric and newborn patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
• Provide newborn nursery coverage and attend deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with community pediatricians and UVM Children's Hospital subspecialists.
• Support the Emergency Department with pediatric consultations.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives within the pediatric service.
