Position Title :  HR Generalist - Program Lead for Sales Compensation

Locations : Remote - North Carolina

Anticipated Start Dates : 11 / 17

Expected Duration :   12 Months

Job Type : Contract with an exetion

Shift :  1st shift. Mon – Fri. 8am – 5pm.

Pay Rate $46 / hr on W2.

Need : Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 7+ years of compensation experience, including sales incentive design, job evaluation, and market pricing; broad-based and global experience preferred.

Job Description : Position Overview

This role serves as the Program Lead for Sales Compensation across Labcorp’s Diagnostics Division. The primary focus will be to support the sales incentive design process and standardize methodologies used across the organization. The role includes finalizing a consistent market pricing and job evaluation process for sales positions, advising on best practices, and identifying opportunities for improvement in organizational structure, job architecture, and incentive design. The position will also provide enterprise-wide support for Sales Compensation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, benchmark, and advise on best practices to achieve sales compensation objectives.
  • Partner with sales leadership, finance, and business executives to review and design annual sales incentive plans across the enterprise.
  • Develop modeling scenarios and provide data-driven recommendations on incentive design and alternatives.
  • Prepare compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers.
  • Conduct research and analysis on compensation proposals, including retention plans, incentives, and car allowances.
  • Maintain sales compensation data integrity and accuracy in Workday.
  • Conduct job evaluations using WTW software and market price roles using published survey data.
  • Provide sales compensation support during M&A due diligence and post-merger integration.
  • Review job descriptions and evaluations to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Partner with Rewards leadership to lead global job architecture and leveling projects.
  • Support additional compensation initiatives, including year-end planning, acquisition integrations, and ad-hoc reviews.
  • Assist in preparing materials for the Compensation Review Board (Governance) meetings with sales leadership.

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive compensation experience, including job evaluation and market pricing for commercial roles.
  • Proven experience in sales incentive design.
  • Broad-based compensation experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a global organization highly desirable.

  • Strong compensation expertise with analytical and quantitative capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to lead and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with sales and HR leadership.
  • High business acumen and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to act independently with self-discipline and initiative.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with ambiguity and minimal supervision.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, analysis, and reporting).
