What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as required.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout healthcare facilities and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and assist visitors as needed.

Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.

Collaborate with healthcare staff and / or law enforcement when necessary, while upholding privacy and confidentiality protocols.

Support access control processes by verifying identification and maintaining awareness of approved personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
