Description :

The position is for an ambulatory case manager specializing in pediatric Gastroenterology and pediatric Orthopedics.

Candidates should have experience in care coordination and disease management.

Knowledge of evidence-based guidelines for determining medical necessity is essential.

Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines is required.

Experience with insurance company procedures and prior authorizations is necessary.

Candidates will work with patients across different age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics.

Daily census involves approximately 100 visits per day in a setting with 35 rooms.

Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, interpretation services, and social services.

This role requires a commitment to patient care and adherence to safety goals and core measures.
