Job description

Job Title : Laboratory Technician

Location : Cleveland, OH

Responsibilities :

As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality control processes and ensuring that products meet the highest quality specifications. Your responsibilities include :

  • Conducting tests on production batches using specific written testing methods.
  • Identifying issues in both in-spec and out-of-spec data.
  • Interpreting results and historical data to ensure products meet or exceed customer quality requirements.
  • Providing instructions to production personnel for necessary batch adjustments.
  • Ensuring all tests are completed, and results meet specifications before proceeding to the next production process.
  • Entering batch data into the electronic batch records system.
  • Generating necessary paperwork in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Collecting and sending customer samples as required.
  • Utilizing computer systems for effective testing of products.
  • Determining the disposition of non-compliant finished goods.
  • Placing non-conforming material on hold as needed.
  • Supporting ISO Management Systems and Safety Systems.
  • Maintaining inventory of lab supplies.
  • Identifying and communicating product issues to other departments.
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating standard operating procedures for the Quality Department to meet ISO requirements.
  • Assisting in the training of other lab technicians as needed.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a quality control laboratory.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility.
  • Associate Degree or higher in Chemistry.
