About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : 12-hour day / night rotation

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years RN experience

License : Active RN License required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP (preferred), TNCC (preferred)

Must-Have :

• 6 months Med Surg experience in the past year
• 6 months Emergency Room experience in the past year
• Ability to function independently in the Emergency Room and provide care in the Med Surg unit with up to 5 patients
• Familiarity with computerized charting and medication systems

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room and Med Surg setting.

Candidates will float between the Emergency Room and Med Surg.

Every other weekend and holiday work is required.

The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

Three call shifts will be required in a 13-week contract.

The typical nurse to patient ratio in the Med Surg unit is 3 to 4 patients per nurse, depending on census and acuity.

Uniforms must comply with established dress code standards.

Training will include EPIC Computer training along with specific training for the Emergency Room and Med Surg.

Candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications before starting.

NRP certification is preferred and can be obtained onsite with approval.

TNCC is preferred but not mandatory.

All candidates will need to badge in and out at the facility.
