We are dedicated to providing high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers while maintaining a strong presence in the competitive retail market. This position offers a four-day work week, M-Th, 10 hours per day. First shift available, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm
**Thermal Press Operator
**
**Reports To: **Plant Manager or Designee
Location: Export, PA
**Job Summary: **Thermal Press Operators produce a final product from raw materials, using precise weights and measurements.
**Primary Responsibilities: **Perform Safety Preflight checks, maintain work area using 5S practices, run 3-5 presses per press set, quality control, enter correct production quantities in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database.
Responsibilities:
Read and follow production schedule
Meet standardized performance levels
Operate presses
Record production and scrap quantities in ERP database
Perform short-interval quality control checks as required
Visually inspect wheels for defects, segregating defects into proper containers
File raised mould lines as necessary
Separate moulded wheels by part number into proper containers
Perform safety and end of shift requirements following 5S practices
Abides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations
Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements:
Must be able to stand or walk for 10 hours per shift (four shifts per week)
Lift up to thirty pounds
Basic reading and comprehension
Knowledge of Epicor preferred but not required
Basic computer skills
