Job Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments, histories, and physical exams of surgical patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.Post-operative care in the office, rounding in the hospital.Provide post-operative education, wound care instructions, and symptom management for surgical patients and family members.Manage common post-surgical complications under physician supervision and within scope of practice.Rotation of after hours callsProcedural Support & Surgical Coordination
Assist in preoperative preparation and postoperative rounds, including daily progress note documentation.Provide wound care to patients in post operative period.Licensing / Education and Training
Graduate degree from accredited NP program.3-5 years ofFully licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of FloridaObtained a Bachelor's, or associate degree or have a Diploma of Nursing.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsBi-lingualMust be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
