The Role

The client is a global financial services leader seeking a Lead AI Engineer to spearhead the design and deployment of agentic AI solutions that will be adopted across the entire company. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership in a highly skilled team to deliver AI systems that operate across complex cloud environments and impact business lines globally.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy enterprise-grade AI / ML solutions (LLMs, agentic AI) in production
Lead teams developing systems that handle millions of transactions securely and efficiently
Architect solutions in the cloud with a focus on scalability, performance, and cost reduction
Collaborate across business and engineering functions to ensure adoption and measurable impact
Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists in best practices for enterprise AI deployment

Ideal Candidate :

8+ years of commercial experience with ML models

Proven track record of deploying LLMs or advanced ML systems in enterprise production

Strong background in large-scale consumer-facing applications or enterprise AI systems

Blend of ML engineering + system design skills (not purely research or purely SWE)

Experience with cloud-native AI deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
