Position Overview
As a Hydraulic Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our Fluid Power Division. You will have the opportunity to travel up to 150 miles, which may include overnight stays, and will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic systems and components both at our branch and on-site with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic systems and components.
- Prepare estimates for repairs and communicate effectively with customers.
- Repair and install new systems in the field.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle.
- Foster professional relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities during visits.
Qualifications
High School degree or equivalent.A minimum of five years of hydraulic experience.Skills and Abilities
Understanding of hydraulic systems and how changes in conditions may affect their performance.Strong decision-making skills based on available information.Attention to detail and ability to follow customer site work rules.Additional Requirements
Valid Driver's License and acceptable motor vehicle record.Willingness to undergo necessary training post-hire, including ISO, Safety, Product, System Design, and Quality Training.Work Environment
